Window Cleaning FAQ’s

  • Yes — on every visit we clean the glass, frames, sills, and doors.
    Please note: it’s normal for a little water or dirt to run out from the gap between the window and sill after we’ve finished. This doesn’t mean your sills haven’t been cleaned — it’s simply trapped dirt being flushed out. Over time, this will completely clear as the area becomes cleaner with each visit.

  • We use ultra-purified water and modern high-reach poles because they’re safer, more eco-friendly, and give a noticeably better, streak-free finish. This method keeps your frames cleaner for longer, protects your property from ladder marks, and ensures a consistent, high-quality result every time.

  • Purified water window cleaning uses ultra-filtered water that’s been stripped of all minerals, salts and impurities. Because the water is completely pure, it naturally absorbs dirt, lifts grime, and dries totally clear without leaving marks or streaks. We deliver it through high-reach poles, meaning we can clean your windows, frames and sills safely from the ground while giving you a spotless, eco-friendly finish, every time.

  • It can sometimes be tricky to rearrange your window clean for when you’re back from holiday, as we may not be in your area at that time.


    If you receive our text reminder while you’re away letting you know we’ll be cleaning the next day, just drop us a quick message. We’ll clean any accessible windows and adjust the price accordingly.
    If your property is gated and we can’t gain access, we’ll simply catch you on the next round.

  • We don’t use ladders or climb onto flat roofs when cleaning windows. In line with the Working at Height Regulations 2005, we prioritise the safety of our team by using a water-fed pole system for all our window cleaning.

  • Our regular window cleaning rounds operate 4 weekly & 8 weekly. We also offer "One Off" window cleaning which can be booked in advance. Please note - Staff holidays and uncertain weather can effect our schedule so please allow some flexibility.

  • In short, yes. We clean windows in light-moderate rain. Rain water is inherently clean whilst falling and therefore doesn’t effect the quality of the clean. If the weather does worsen, we will unfortunately need to stop, grab a cup of tea and get dry.

  • We get asked this a lot! If your ground floor skylights are within reach without using ladders, we’ll happily clean them. However, the water-fed pole and brush we use are designed to be lightweight, which means they can sometimes struggle to remove stubborn marks like baked-on pollen, bird mess, or dust. Because limited pressure can be applied from the ground, we recommend tilting or spinning your Velux window and giving it a quick clean from the inside for the best results.

  • Yes no problem. Simply let us know in reply to the text reminder you will have received the night before. We’ll clean all windows that are accessible and charge accordingly.

  • We’ll send you a reminder text to all the day before we are due to clean. This is to remind you to leave the gate unlocked for the day. If we can't gain access to the rear of your property because of locked gates we will clean the accessible windows. If you have gates which require an access code we may ask for the code and store safely within our CRM system on your account.

  • Yes, we can normally clean hard to reach windows safely from the ground. If we can see the window we can normally clean it. If your conservatory or extension is long this might restrict access to certain windows.

  • Yes we do, just ask us for a quote.

  • Yes we do. If you want to add your garage door to your regular clean just let us know. We’ll charge £3 per garage door as part of a regular clean.

  • We aim to keep your cleans on a regular schedule, but we can’t guarantee the exact same day or time each visit. Factors such as weather, route changes, or operational needs can affect our schedule. We do, however, always notify you the day before we’re due to visit.

  • Yes we do, just ask us for a quote.

  • Yes — we’re fully insured with public liability cover. This protects both you and us in the unlikely event of any accidental damage while we’re working on your property.

  • After your first clean using our purified water–fed pole system, you may notice a few minor spotting or streak marks as any residues from previous cleaning products are flushed away. This is completely normal and will improve with each visit. After one or two cleans, your windows will reach their best, long-lasting, spotless finish.

  • You’re covered by our 100% Clean Guarantee. If we miss anything, we’ll return and fix it promptly and free of charge.

Payment FAQ’s

  • Choose from GoCardless Direct Debit or Bank Transfer. Our minimum payment is £15.00

    We have 7 day payment terms, to ensure you’re up to date with your window cleans.

  • GoCardless is a secure, automated bank payments platform that allows us to collect both one-off and recurring payments directly from your bank account. It's a convenient and trusted alternative to traditional card payments. By using GoCardless, your payments are automatically processed on time, giving you peace of mind while helping us reduce administration.

  • GoCardless makes payments simple and hassle-free. Your invoice is billed automatically only after your clean is completed, so you stay in full control. It’s secure, fully protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, and saves you the hassle of manual payments each month.

  • No, GoCardless only asks for payment once we've cleaned your windows, this is known as a manual Direct Debit. So if for whatever reason we haven’t attended, you will not be charged.

  • You’re only charged after the work is done. Once your clean is completed, the payment is processed via GoCardless within a few days.

  • Direct Debit is our preferred method because it keeps things simple for both you and us, but it’s not mandatory. If you’d rather pay another way, just let us know.

  • You’ll only be charged when we’ve actually cleaned your windows. No monthly subscription, no surprise fees—just pay for the work you receive.

  • Absolutely. Just message us before your clean is due. We’ll pause your slot, skip the clean, and no payment will be taken.

  • Yes. GoCardless sends automatic email confirmations for every payment, giving you a clear record of all charges.
